Used for the Piston and Piston Rod, the guidance parts (support ring) absorb the radial force. Meanwhile,
provide accurate guide function, prevent all the metal sliding parts inside the cylinder tube to touch each 
other. Based on the different requirement, we can offer the support ring with different material. Both ring 
type and tape type are available.    
 
Application:
Working Pressure:
                POM≤60MPa
                Phenolic Resin (FQ)≤160MPa
Working Temperature:
                 POM:-30℃~100℃
                 Phenolic Resin (FQ):-50℃~120℃
Surface Speed:≤0.5m/s
 
Installation:
When the rod diameter or hole diameter is under 50mm, need to adopt Open type groove. 
 
Material:
According to the different load requirement, the material of the guidance parts ( support ring) are different. 
Usually, POM are suitable for medium load, thermosetting phenolic resin are suitable for heavy load.  If 
any special requirement (such as temperature, groove sizes, and etc.), please contact with us.
 
The main function of the guide ring is to provides accurate guidance and support for the piston and piston
rod, and also, avoid the metal parts to touch each other. We have developed the phenolic resin guide rings
for mine and coal industries which can bear more load, and also, anti-friction, provide self - lubricating function.
