FS Wipers (Dust Seals)

Function and Usage
FS wiper (dust seal) is a combination seal with double sealing lips, which are combined by a filled PTFE slip ring and an o ring. The dust lip scarping the dirt to ensure the piston rod is clean when reverse running. The sealing lip which be directed at the media effects the sealing, and also, reduce the oil slick. With low friction, wear-resisting filled PTFE slip ring, the FS wiper can be used in a various application, especially for poor working condition, such as high speed running and high temperature.

Material
Standard usage
Slip Ring Material: Filled PTFE  Our Material Code: T605
O Ring Material: Nitrile Rubber (NBR)  Our Material Code: N800
Combination Code: T605N
 
If the working condition is under high temperature or chemical resistant medium, we suggest to use FKM (Fluoro Rubber) O Ring, Our Material Code: F800, Combination Code: T605F.
 
If the working condition is under low temperature, we suggest to use low temperature resistant rubber, Our Material Code: NV705, Combination Code: T605NV.
 
Technical Data
The Standard FS Wiper is suitable for the axial control rod, plunger, and piston rod of the hydraulic cylinders.
Speed：≤5m/s
Working Temperature：-35℃ to +200℃ (Refer to the O Ring material)
Working Medium: Hydraulic oil, emulsion, water
Tips: Limit value of the above data, can not be used at the same time. The maximum working pressure depends on the type of material, the pressure, the temperature, the gap, and etc.. In actual usage, due to the mutual influence of working parameters, the maximum value setting is lower.
 
Installation
Groove: Closed
When installing need to avoid the O Ring to be twisted. In order to avoid the damage of the seals, during the installation, the seals should be leave away with the shape edge of the parts and tools.
