FM Wipers (Dust Seals)

Function and Usage
FM wiper (dust seal) is a combination seal which are combined by a metal shell and TPU (polyurethane). Through the interference fit between the groove and the outer diameter of the metal ring, the dust ring can be reliably arranged in an axial open groove, which is used to prevent dust, dirt, sand particles, metal scraps and other impurities into the sealing system. The FM wiper has the advantages of strong wear resistance, good dust scraping effect, compression permanent deformation, and external mechanical shock resistance, suitable for excavators or loaders cylinders.

Standard usage
Wiper Material: polyurethane  Our Material Code: P903
Metal Shell: Non alloy
 
If the working condition is under high temperature or chemical resistant medium, we suggest to use FKM (Fluoro Rubber), Our Material Code: F900.
 
Technical Data
The Standard FM Wiper is suitable for the hydraulic cylinders and valve.
Speed：≤2m/s
Working Temperature：-35℃ to +100℃ 
Working Medium: Hydraulic oil, emulsion, water
Tips: Limit value of the above data, can not be used at the same time. The maximum working pressure depends on the type of material, the pressure, the temperature, the gap, and etc.. In actual usage, due to the mutual influence of working parameters, the maximum value setting is lower.
 
Installation
Groove: Opened
The FM wiper diameter is a little bit bigger, which ensure the tightness with the groove after installation. In order to avoid the damage of the seals, during the installation, the seals should be leave away with the shape edge of the parts and tools.
